The T/Pump® system provides safe and effective localized warming and cooling therapy with precise temperature control. It is effective for chronic pain relief and patient comfort in orthopedic conditions such as acute back pain and muscle strain and spasm, skin trauma such as bruises, contusions and burns, chronic arthritis, tendonitis, neuritis, phlebitis, I.V. infiltration, infection and localized pain.
Gaymar produces a variety of its Mul•T•Pad® products for use with the T/Pump®. The random flow design permits the pad to be folded to almost any size, reducing the need for added inventory. Together, the T/Pump® and Mul•T•Pad® deliver a consistent flow of regulated water temperature for safe, effective localized therapy.
Teko Technicians also offer Gaymar Pump Pads. Contact us for volume pricing.

Can distilled water be used with the unit?
Yes, but it is not necessary. Distilled water will allow you to clean the unit less frequently. The T/Pumps are designed for use with regular tap water.
What is different about these units compared to the TP500 series?
The new T/Pump series is software-driven. There is no need for calibration or the mercury switch.
Can I use the T/Pump for continuous cooling and warming?
The T/Pump reservoir provides ice capacity to allow for either 40 minutes of continuous cooling or two 20-minute applications (20 minutes on, then 20 minutes off, followed by 20 minutes on. Professional model only).
What happens if the T/Pump tips over?
If the T/Pump tips over, the flow indicator will alarm and the unit will enter "Standby" mode. Once the T/Pump is upright, simply press the "On" button. Normal operation will resume and the flow indicator light will turn off.
Can a patient be burned when the temperature is set to the highest setting?
No. Studies have proven that thermal damage occurs in both adult and in pediatric patients when the skin temperature is at or above 111.2° F continuously for 6 hours or more. The T/Pump is designed to provide safe and effective localize therapy.
Can I go directly from cooling to warming therapy?
No. You will need to empty the cold water and ice from the reservoir and refill it with ambient temperature tap water to the heat wave fill line before beginning the warming therapy cycle.
Will ice ever get into the pad?
Ice, crushed or cubed, will never get into the pad. Ice floats and the water intake are located at the bottom of the reservoir.
