Intermittent Suction Unit – This specialty regulator includes an “intermittent” mode that automatically cycles the vacuum on and off (15:8 seconds) and a “continuous” mode for continuous suction. The intermittent mode is ideal for gastric drainage. The continuous mode is ideal for general suction such as airway management, continuous gastric drainage and simple drainage.
Continuous Vacuum Regulator – This multi-purpose vacuum regulator is offered in a two-mode (Regulate/Off) or three-mode (Regulate/Off/ Full) system. This device is designed for general suction procedures.
Surgical Free Flow – This specialty regulator is designed for high-flow applications requiring strict vacuum control and high flow. This device is ideal for the operating theater where high flow is very important, as is vacuum control such as blood auto-transfusion, vacuum retractors, etc.
Thoracic Regulator – This specialty regulator is designed for high-flow, low-vacuum applications such as pleural drainage. This device replaces traditional water column vacuum controllers. It enables the user to quickly adjust low vacuum levels without the noise, evaporation or spillage that occurs with traditional water column drainage systems. For pleural applications, this device must be used in conjunction with a two-bottle pleural drainage system with a water seal and collection system.

Continues - Intermittent Vacuum Regulator
This unit is a combination continuous and intermittent regulator for use with hospital pipeline vacuum systems. Provides the versatility of an intermittent mode for nasogastric drainage and a continuous mode for tracheal, pharyngeal, or surgical suctioning.
Intermittent mode utilizes a pneumatic logic device to cycle the unit automatically, returning the system to atmosphere in the "OFF" cycle and from 0 to Full Vac in the "ON" cycle. Timing cycles are adjustable from 3 to 30 seconds. Intermittent flow rate shall be adjustable from 0 to 13 Lpm, preset at 8 Lpm. Both mode selector and vacuum regular controls are lockable. The regulator module and gauge assembly are interchangeable with the Continuous Vacuum Regulator. Gauge face has color coded ranges, glow in the dark needle and increments. |

The Surgical/Free Flow vacuum regulator with color coded Standard (0-200-Full Vac) or High Vac (0-760 mm Hg) gauge, each calibrated in mm Hg. Regulator provides continuous, regulated suction from a piped vacuum system. Regulating mechanism is physically isolated from the suction flow path (regulating bar and silastic tubing). Thoracic Vacuum Regulator
This unit is available with adapters for virtually all pipeline systems and is offered with a standard tubing nipple or a locking gland for use with an overflow safety trap.
The Thoracic Vacuum Regulator with color coded gauge marked in 1 cm H2O increments. Regulator provides continuous, regulated suction from a piped vacuum system. Regulator can be used in conjunction with disposable or reusable chest drainage systems. Adjustable, pressure limiting valve prevents pressures from exceeding set level. Positive pressure relief valve vents positive pleural pressures or accidental pressures in excess of 10 cm H2O (1.0 kPa) away from patient system. Separate on/off switch conserves vacuum, allows retention of previous setting. Regulators are equipped with specified adapter and/or fitting. |
